NATIONAL BUDO GAMES 2006

On 25th of February 2006, under organization of  Serbian Budo Council, the first National Budo Games took place in the Millennium Hall, in town of Vrsac. After opening speech of Milan Vujasin, president of Serbian Budo Council, a minute of science was given in honor of tragic lost of sensei Slobodan Saric. There were 14 clubs from Belgrade, Petrovac, Kraljevo, Perlez, Pozarevac, Sabac, Smederevo, Vrsac, with guests from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Total of 150 competitors. Budo Games consist of competitions in Jujutsu kumite and Jujutsu kata, organized by Sport Jujutsu Association of Serbia, and Sport Kenjutsu competition, organized by Sport Chanbara Association of Serbia. Whole event, thanks to the host and referees, went in a pleasant atmosphere, and what's most important of all, there were no injuries of competitors.

Dana 25.02.2006. godine, u organizaciji Budo Saveta Srbije, odrzane su prve Nacionalne Budo Igre u hali Milenijum u Vrscu. Svecanom otvaranju predhodio je govor Milana Vujasina, predsednika Budo Saveta Srbije, u kome je odrzan pomen i minut cutanja u cast nedavno preminulog clana Upravnog odbora BSS-a, majstora Slobodana Sarica. Na takmicenjima je ucestvovalo 14 klubova iz Beograda, Petrovca, Kraljeva, Perleza, Pozarevca, Sabca, Smedereva, Vrsca sa gostima iz Hrvacke i Bosne i Hercegovine sa preko 150 takmicara. Odrzana su takmicenja u Jujutsu kumiteu i Jujutsu katama u organizaciji Sportske Jujutsu Asocijacije Srbije, kao i takmicenje i Sportskom kenjutsu u organizaciji Sportske Chanbara Asocijacije Srbije. Ceo dogadjaj je, zahvaljujuci organizatorima i sudijama,  protekao u prijatnoj atmosferi i sto je najvaznije, bez povreda takmicara.

Jujutsu Kumite - crowd, friendship, GAMES

 

 

Jujutsu Kumite consists of 3 rounds. In round 1 competitors wear body armors and glovers and use techniques similar to karate and taekwondo. In round 2 competitors wrestle same as in judo. In round 3 competitors try to score points in groundfight. Rules are most simple and safe. The competitor who wins more rounds, wins the whole match.
