Slobodan Saric Memorial - International Budo Games

U subotu 23. februara odrzan je u Pozarevcu drugi po redu Memorijalni ju-jutsu i kenjutsu turnir u cast Slobodana Sarica-Sare, prerano preminulog clana Shinbukan skole borilackih vestina iz Pozarevca. Organizator turnira bio je Shinbukan, zajedno sa porodicom Saric i klubovima Budo Saveta Srbije iz Sapca, Vrsca, Petrovca na Mlavi, Vlaskog Dola, Smedereva. Osim ovih klubova, na memorijalnom turniru pojavili su se i predstavnici klubova iz Beograda, Nisa i Velikog Gradista.

 

Takmicenje je izvedeno u sali Ekonomske skole u Pozarevcu, cijem se direktoru, gospodinu Luki Sesumu, organizatori zahvaljuju na pomoci. Pored 150 takmicara iz Srbije, uprkos politickim previranjima u zemlji, turnir su svojim prisustvom uvecali takmicari i gosti iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Ceske, Hrvatske, Italije, Nemacke i Svedske. Ukupno sedam zemalja sa oko 210 takmicara.

 

Turnir je imao 4 discipline - Sport Kenjutsu (sportsko japansko macevanje), Mix Kumite (jujutsu borbe za juniore), Sport Jujutsu (borbe po pravilima za seniore) i Jujutsu Kate (demonstracije samoodbrane). Bio je ovo jedan od najjacih turnira ikada odrzanih na prostorima Jugoistocne Evrope, sa po 10 i 15 takmicara u pojedinim kategorijama. Kao kuriozitet ostace zapamceno da se cak 40 seniora iz 6 zemalja nadmetalo za tri medalje u muskoj seniorskoj Sport kenjutsu kategoriji.

 

Takmicenje su otvorili Dr Ivica Zdravkovic, predsednik Budo Saveta Srbije, gospodja Nada Saric, majka pokojnog majstora Slobodana Sarica, i Peter Rosendahl, predsednik Evropskog Budo Saveta.

 

Takmicenje je proslo u prijateljskoj atmosferi, sa obiljem dobrih borbi. Svi timovi su osvojili medalje, a na kraju su dodeljene i diplome sa unapredjenjima pojedinim instruktorima. Titulu Shihana dobio je Ragib Karahmehmedovic iz Sarajeva, vise DAN rangove u jujutsu vestini dobili su Bosko Vidovic iz Brckog, Hrvoje Znaor iz Hrvatske, Radim Balner iz Ceske... U zvanje trenera za Sport Jujutsu i Sport kenjutsu promovisani su Stojan Lukic iz BiH, Jens Fricke i Thorsten Garrles iz Nemacke, kao i prof. Marijana Muresan iz Vrsca. Od strane Evropskog Budo Saveta i MAIF organizacije, rank Menkyo Chuden Karate Do dobio je Ivica Zdravkovic.

 

U nedelju je u istoj sali odrzan seminar borilackih vestina koji vodili shihan Jens Fricke Nemacke i shihan Peter Rosendahl. Ovom seminaru su prisustvovali vezbaci iz Nemacke, Ceske, Italije i Srbije.

 

Svi ucesnici ovog skupa najavili su ucesce na predstojecim Evropskim Budo Igrama u Nemackoj, septembra 2008. godine.

On Saturday February 23rd second Memorial tournament in honor of late Slobodan Saric-Sara was held in Pozarevac. Saric sensei was a member of Shinbukan school of martial arts, which was, alongside with Saric family, the organizer and host of the tournament. Additional help in organization was received from Serbian Budo Council's clubs: Sabac, Vrsac, Petrovac, Vlaski Do, Smederevo. Aside from these clubs, there were also representatives from clubs of Nis, Belgrade and Veliko Gradiste.

 

Competition was held in the sport hall of School of Economics, and organizers give thanks to its' principal, Mr.Luka Sesum. Beside 150 competitors from Serbia, despite political turmoil in Serbia, this tournament was attended by guests from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Sweden and Germany. Total of 7 countries with near 210 competitors.

 

There were 4 disciplines on the tournament: Sport Kenjutsu (Japanese style sport fencing),  Mix Kumite (jujutsu fight for young competitors), Sport Jujutsu (fight for seniors) and Jujutsu kata (demonstration of self-defense).

 

This was one of the strongest tournaments ever held in South-East Europe, with 10-15 contestants in some categories. It will be remembered that there were 40 men from 6 countries in one single Sport kenjutsu division, competing for 3 medals.

 

Tournament was open by Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic, president of Serbian Budo Council, Mrs. Nada Saric, mother of late Slobodan Saric sensei, and Mr. Peter Rosendahl, president of European Budo Council.

 

Competition went in a friendly atmosphere, with plenty of good fights. All teams won medals, and at the end some promotional diplomas were also awarded. Mr. Ragib Karamehmedovic from Sarajevo received the title of Shihan in jujutsu. Higher Dan grades were given to Bosko Vidovic, Hrvoje Znaor, Radim Ballner... Newly promoted coaches in Sport Kenjutsu and Sport Jujutsu are Stojan Lukic, Jens Fricke, Thorsten Garrels, and prof. Marijana Muresan. On behalf of European Budo Council and MAIF Ivica Zdravkovic is awarded Menkyo Chuden in Karate Do.

 

On Sunday there was a martial arts seminar ran by shihan Jens Fricke  from Germany and shihan Peter Rosendahl from Germany. Participants of the seminar were from Germany, Czech Republic, Italy and Serbia.

 

All attendants of this event have announced their participation on forthcoming European Budo Games in Germany, September 2008.
