EUROPEAN BUDO GAMES

| On weekend 25th to 26th of August 2007 European Budo Games were held in Split, CROATIA. Host of the Games was Mr. Hrvoje Znaor, Chairman of European Budo Council. Games were attended by representatives of Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Czech Republic, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Germany and Montenegro. Seminar had three most important parts - a Budo Night with demonstrations of martial arts, a Seminar day with seminars in Jujutsu and Sport Kenjutsu, and finally, European Cup in Sport Kenjutsu and Sport Jujutsu. Competitions were conducted within three disciplines: Sport kenjutsu, Jujutsu Kata and Jujutsu Kumite. The best in overall score was team from Czech Republic, headed by Dejan Kostic and Radim Ballner sensei. Serbian team consisted of only 6 members, but placed third. Head coach for representatives of Serbian Budo Council was Igor Kesic. In Sport kenjutsu competition, Milos Zec from "Musashi" Smederevo won gold medal. In Jujutsu kumite Vladan Stevic from "Shinbukan" Pozarevac won silver medal. Next European Budo Games should be held in Germany. | Tokom vikenda 25. i 26. avgusta 2007. godine u Splitu su odrzane druge po redu Evropske Budo Igre. Domacin Igara bio je gospodin Hrvoje Zaor, predsedavajuci Evropskog Budo Saveta. Igrama su prisustvovali reprezentativci timova iz Hrvatske, Italije, Srbije, Ceske, Bosne i Hercegovine, Nemacke i Crne Gore. Seminar je bio podeljen u tri dela: Budo vece sa demonstracijama borilackih vestina, seminar za jujutsu i kenjutsu, i konacno, Evropski Kup za Sport kenjutsu i Jujutsu. Takmicenja su izvedena u tri discipoline: Sport Kenjutsu, Jujutsu kata i Jujutsu kumite. Najbolji u ukupnim rezultataima bili su takmicari iz Ceske, predvodjeni Dejanom Kosticem i Radimom Ballnerom. Tim iz Srbije imao je samo 6 clanova, ali se ipak plasirao na trece meto. Kapiten tima ispred Budo Saveta Srbije bio je gospodin Igor Kesic. U disciplini Sport kenjutsu Milos Zec iz kluba MUSASHI Smederevo osvojio je zlatnu medalju. Vladan Stevic iz skole SHINBUKAN Pozarevac osvojio je srebro u borbama. Sledece Evropske Budo Igre trebalo bi da budu odrzane u Nemackoj. |
