Budo Meeting in Pozarevac

U nedelju 17. juna 2007. godine u Hali Sportova u Pozarevcu odrzan je prijateljski tromec izmedju klubova koji se bave japanskim macevanjem (chanbara) i djujutsu sportom iz Pozarevca, Smedereva i Petrovca na Mlavi. Prisustvovalo je oko 70 vezbaca. Osim uobicajenih disiplina, djudjutsu borbi i chanbare, vezbaci tri kluba nadmetali su se i u takozvanom "djudjutsu ragbiju", zanimljivoj igri koja je mesavina djudjutsu i dzudo sportske borbe u parteru i ragbija - zabavna toliko da je privukla najvise paznje posmatraca i ucesnika. Klubove su predvodili domacin dr Ivica Zdravkovic, zatim Srdjan Ilic, trener kluba borilackih vestina iz Petrovca, i Igor Kesic, trener kluba MUSASHI iz Smedereva. Pomoc oko realizacije imali su od instruktora i sudija, Srdjana Spasica, Milosa Zeca, Zorana Bosijokovica... Iako su rezultati bili u drugom planu, takmicari iz Pozarevca, Petrovca i Smedereva pokazali su veoma visok kvalitet u djudjutsu i macevalackim susretima, a najboljima su dodeljene i diplome

On Sunday 17th of June 2007 a friendly trilateral meeting of martial clubs from Pozarevac, Smederevo and Petrovac-na -Mlavi was held in Pozarevac Sports Center. There were 70 practitioners of jujutsu and chanbara (Japanese sport fencing). Aside from usual disciplines of Jujutsu Kumite and Chanbara, the three clubs also competed in the so called "jujutsu rugby", an interesting game which is a mixture of jujutsu/judo groundfight and rugby. The game was so fun that it had attracted most attention from all the observers and participants. Clubs were headed by Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic, sensei Srdjan Ilic from Petrovac and sensei Igor Kesic from "Musashi" club from Smederevo. They were assisted in refereeing by instructors and referees Srdjan Spasic, Milos Zec, Zoran Bosijokovic and others. Although results were not so important on this competition, all contestants have demonstrated very good quality, and the best were given diplomas for their victories.
